Tacit Glove Gives Sight to the Blind

Tacit Glove Gives Sight to the Blind. Using sonar technology, the wrist-mounted glove helps a user recognize the distance from an object by applying varying levels of pressure to the wrist, Engadget reported.

The gauntlet is made of an Arduino microcontroller, ultrasonic sensors and a pair of servomotors. The circuitry and software are registered under Creative Commons, allowing anyone — including you, dear reader — to go and construct his or her own.
